Hocelot is concerned about the security and confidentiality of its employees' personal data. In this Privacy Policy, Hocelot explains how it does so, who is responsible for your personal data, and what use is made of it. Please read them carefully. By providing your personal data to Hocelot, Hocelot understands that you have understood the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Categories of personal data processed
In compliance with the provisions of the regulations on the protection of personal data, in the Annex to the employment contract each worker is informed that the personal data provided within the framework of this employment relationship will be incorporated into a file owned by Hocelot Technologies Spain, S.L. Said file will contain the following categories of personal data:
- Identifying data: name, surnames, postal address, email address, contact telephone number.
- Professional information data.
- Academic and professional data.
Your personal data may be collected through different means, including the following:
- Contacting Hocelot through Hocelot's email address, postal address, or telephone number.
At all times you will know which of the requested data is mandatory and which data is voluntary for the correct provision of the service you request.
You guarantee that the personal data you provide to Hocelot is accurate, complete, true and up to date. Hocelot will not be responsible for any damage or harm of any kind that you may suffer as a consequence of the communication of personal data that does not comply with the aforementioned characteristics.
3. Purpose, legal basis for processing and retention of your personal data
Hocelot processes your personal data for the following purposes:
Manage the employment relationship that links you with Hocelot. Through this purpose, Hocelot may manage any pre-contractual matters in order to be able to establish a contractual relationship in the future with the company. Hocelot is legitimized to process your personal data according to this purpose because said processing is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures at the request of the interested party. Likewise, Hocelot understands that it has a legitimate interest in establishing a contractual relationship in application of data protection regulations. Hocelot informs you that your personal data will be kept for up to one (1) year from the last contact with the interested party.
The personal data necessary for the proper execution of each of the purposes will be processed during the periods referred to above. After the expiration of said periods, Hocelot could maintain them duly blocked during the limitation period of any obligations that may arise related to the data. Hocelot nevertheless guarantees the deletion of personal data once said obligations prescribe.
4. Recipients of personal data
Hocelot may communicate your personal data to the following entities, who may process them according to their own purposes:
- Public administrations and other legal bodies, in the exercise of their powers, in order to comply with any legal obligation applicable to Hocelot.
Likewise, in some cases, entities subcontracted by Hocelot could access personal data, to help Hocelot in the management of payrolls, flexible remuneration, training, etc. Hocelot nevertheless guarantees that all these entities, which will access your personal data as Data Processors, comply with the applicable regulations on data protection.
In the event that any entity is outside the European Economic Area, and could access the data from such location, producing an international transfer of personal data, Hocelot will guarantee the legitimacy of said international transfers according to the mechanisms provided for by the applicable regulations. To this end, Hocelot will require such entities to provide guarantees in terms of security and confidentiality, with the objective of ensuring the protection of your personal data.
5. Your rights
You may exercise your rights at any time by sending an email to dpo@hocelot.com, or by postal mail to Hocelot at Calle Alfonso XII number 10, 2 left, C.P. 28014, Madrid.
Likewise, you may exercise your rights by contacting Hocelot's DPO by sending an email to dpo@hocelot.com.
Your request must be accompanied by a copy of your ID or other equivalent identification document. If your request does not meet the specified requirements, Hocelot may require its correction. No consideration will be required for the exercise of your rights.
The rights you can exercise are the following:
- Revoke any consent you have given regarding the processing of your personal data;
- Access your personal data in order to obtain confirmation about whether Hocelot is processing said data, and if so, know exactly what data is being processed;
- Rectification. Obtain the rectification of your personal data, in case they are incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate;
- Erasure. Obtain the erasure of your personal data, in case, among others, they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected to be processed by Hocelot;
- Restriction. Obtain the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, in which case they may only be kept by Hocelot for the exercise or defense of claims;
- Obtain the portability of your personal data;
- Opposition. Object to the processing of your personal data for reasons related to your particular situation and in certain circumstances, in accordance with applicable regulations, in which case Hocelot will stop processing your personal data;
- File a complaint with the Data Protection Agency, in case you consider that Hocelot has not properly attended to your request to exercise any of your rights, or has violated current regulations on the protection of personal data.
6. Security measures for the protection of your personal data
Hocelot guarantees the security of your personal data through the implementation of technical and organizational measures that ensure their confidentiality and integrity, and that prevent their loss, alteration or unauthorized access, including the following: encryption of communications between the user's device and Hocelot's servers, encryption of information on Hocelot's own servers, use of a secure server environment (SSL), and establishment of both computer security and information access controls.
When determining these measures, criteria such as scope, context and purposes of processing; the state of the art and existing risks have been taken into account.
This Privacy Policy is subject to possible updates, so we recommend that you consult it periodically. In case of updating it, Hocelot will add a new update date.
